Solid waste paperboard (also known as upholstered cardboard or furniture board) is produced in the process of recycling waste paper by gluing multiple layers of paper pulp together. It is a fully ecological product. It is possible to enrich it with fillers and chemical additives which increase resistance to loads. It is used in the production of e.g. packaging and covers.

In solid cardboard packaging, it is possible to paste a PET foil window in order to additionally expose the product inside. The most commonly used foil is 150µm thick, which corresponds to 0.15mm.
